Isaac's favorite color to draw with is black

Isaac really enjoys drawing with his crayons. The last couple of days that is almost all he has wanted to do. Here is a picture of his drawing as well as Brady's. As you can see, Brady isn't as big into drawing, he just wants to organize the crayons.

Isaac's drawing, isn't it beautiful?

Brady's drawing. As you can see, he isn't into drawing as much as Isaac.

Isaac is nuk free!!!

Last week Thursday I had decided to hide Isaac's nuk while daddy was giving the boys a bath. When it came time for bedtime, he looked on the dresser where it normally is kept. I said, it wasn't there, it was missing. I then pulled out the crib and looked behind that and looked all over the place. It had gone bye-bye. Isaac then laid down and I left the room. He immediately started to cry so I figured I would let him cry for about 15 minutes and then maybe give it back to him. He cried for about 5 minutes and then fell asleep. The next day I had the day off, so I wondered how it was going to be with his nap. Again, he looked up on the dresser for it, but I said it was still missing and it had gone bye. He laid down and cried for maybe a couple minutes before falling asleep. By the end of the weekend, he was crying just briefly before quieting down and going to sleep. I have now thrown away all his nuks so he doesn't accidentally find one. He still will look up on the dresser hoping it will reappear, but that won't happen. I just keep telling him that it went bye-bye.

Party at Grandma and Grandpa's

Today Grandma and Grandpa had a party at their house to celebrate all the Neuser's April birthdays. Auntie Carrie, Cousin Zac, Uncle Patton and Mommy all celebrate their birthdays in April. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. Grandma and grandpa even got the pool out so we could play in it.

We really enjoyed climbing in and out of grandma's sun room.

Congratulations Nathan & Jill

Yesterday, Nathan Moore and Jill Verhasselt got married. Nathan is Shawn's cousin. I wasn't able to get a whole lot of pictures taken, but here are the ones I do have. The boys came with us and spent most of the day with us until about 8 pm when they were getting very cranky and tired. They had a great time though at the reception. Grandma F. came and got the boys for the rest of the night.

Speech therapist

The speech therapist comes over to our house once every two weeks. Today was the day she came over. Isaac is really starting to say a lot more now. He says hi, bye, uh oh, truck, more, see ya later, as well as other words I can't think of right now. Grandma N. said Isaac attempted to say grandpa.

Brady is really good at saying the word "more" in sign language. He is also saying hi, and we are trying to get him to say bye.

They are both progressing really well.

Happy Birthday Grandma

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, to you. Tonight we all went out for dinner to Victoria's for grandma's birthday. Its not very often that all of us get the chance to go out to eat during the week, but with Daddy working during the day, we were all home. We all had a wonderful dinner at Victoria's.

Playtime after cleaning the yard

Today, my mom came over to watch the boys since Shawn is working days the next two weeks. She is watching the boys today and tomorrow while we work. They all worked very hard cleaning up all the branches from the back yard, which was no small task. When mom and dad got home, we put the swings up and took out some of the summer toys for the boys to play with. The boys really enjoyed swinging in their swings again after a long winter without them. For Christmas, the boys received a t-ball set. The boys cried over not having the bat even though they were taking turns. At first when Isaac would hold the bat, he would hold the fat part of the bat and try to swing. He quickly learned the correct way to hold the bat though. I think he might be a left handed sports player since he golfs right handed and bats left handed. We shall see.

Drawing

This morning the boys decided they were going to do some drawing. They are getting better at being able to use the crayons on the paper. When I first would give them the crayons, they would only pound on the table with them and could hardly get any marks on the paper. Now they can make real scribbles. Isaac still enjoys eating the crayons though.

Nite Nite

Tonight before I brought the boys up to bed, we were sitting on the couch. I had the blanket on top of me and then Isaac decided to lay down on the couch next to me, but he wanted the blanket. I gave him part of it to cover up with and then Brady wanted to join in on the fun, so he climbed up next to Issac and they both laid there on the couch with the blanket on them. They looked so cute. :)

Easter 2007

This year for Easter we all went up to Aunt Lisa's and Uncle Tom's house. It was great fun and the weather wasn't too bad. A little cold for April, but at least it wasn't as windy and cold as it had been. Click here for some pictures from today.

Hello, hello??

I got the boys up from their nap today and Isaac went downstairs while I was putting pants on Brady. When Brady and I came downstairs Isaac was sitting on the floor with my purse that he had grabbed off the counter. He had opened it up and took out my palm and phone. This is what he was doing.

He had the phone open and my palm turned on. He looked like he was looking up a phone number to call someone. I wonder who it was?? Maybe it was the Easter Bunny!

Easel

The boys finally got their easel from grandma's house on Sunday. The boys really enjoy climbing on it. The only problem is that they climb up on it like they did here, but then they can't figure out how to get down.
