Easter

Happy Easter!

This was the first year that the boys got into finding their Easter baskets. I had to help Isaac find his a little, but Brady found his pretty quickly. They were put into 2 areas where the boys play pretty often. Brady's was put in the cupboard in the kitchen where he often takes bowls out of and Isaac's was put in the cupboard under the TV in the family room. I told the boys to go find their baskets. Originally both boys were down in the family room looking around, and then Brady went upstairs. I was helping Isaac find his when all of a sudden Brady came downstairs with his basket in hand. He was so excited. Shortly afterwards, Isaac found his. (Sorry, I don't have any pictures).

Later in the day, the Smits family came over for our Easter Celebration. I was able to get a few pictures taken throughout the day.

Here is a 4 generation picture. Isaac, me, my mom, Brady and Grandpa Smits.

Great-Grandpa and the boys.
Here is a family picture of the Wojo's. Lisa, Mitchell, Krista and Tom.

This is a picture of my cousin Jeremy, with his youngest, Austin who will turn 2 in about a week.

Here is also a little video clip of the boys. Can't believe how the smallest things can be so funny.

Hard on the neck

Last night when we came home from bowling, Shawn went to check on the boys while I said good-bye to my mom. He told us to come up and check this out. I went upstairs to find this.

He must have been pretty tired to fall asleep like this. Man, that had to be hard on the neck. On top of all that, he also had a dirty diaper!! Shawn changed him and he never blinked an eye.

New bed update

Well, it has been a week since we have put the boys in their new beds. The first night was a long one since they were so excited to be sleeping in new beds. The next couple of nights they went to bed pretty good because they were so tired from not taking naps. Since we have put them in their beds, Isaac has only taken one nap and Brady hasn't at all. Other than that, they haven't been to bad. Some nights are better than others. Last night Isaac had actually taken a nap, and because of that, he stayed up until almost 11 pm. Any advice other moms can give me to help the boys take naps and stay in their beds would be very much appreciated.

Big boys beds

Last night I decided it was time to put the boys in their new toddler beds. What forced my decision wasn't that they were crawling out of their beds all the time. In fact, neither one of them had even tried to do it since that one time Isaac did it and I posted it on the blog. No, what was the final straw was that when I went into their bedroom, I saw white chips all over the place by the window. At first, I thought they were paint chips, because the boys have been chewing on their cribs. Later I discovered that they weren't actually paint chips, but pieces of the mini blinds. Brady could actually reach them when he was in his crib and would swing them back and forth. In doing that, he was breaking off pieces of the blinds. Also with the blinds rubbing back and forth, it has really wrecked the trim from the windows.

So, last night I decided to put up their new beds with the help of grandma. Here are some pictures of them sleeping in their new beds.

Their bedroom looks so much bigger now. It is amazing, especially since the beds are technically the same size since they are using the same size mattress as their cribs.
