DeYoung Zoo Visit

Today the boys and I went up to visit Lisa in Marinette. We also went to the DeYoung Zoo while we were there. The boys had a good time, but got tired about half way through it, so we didn't get to see all the animals. We did get to see some tigers and bears and a really cute monkey while we were there. As well as some other interesting animals.

Big boy bikes

The boys really started getting into riding their big boys bikes this summer. Isaac is modeling his new helmet and pads.



Here Brady is on his bike.

Brady took to the bike pretty quickly. He was going up and down the hills with no problems once he got past his initial fear of going down the hill. Isaac started out slower. He would ride down the hill, but then walk his bike back up the hill.

GBAMOM NEW Zoo Visit

Yesterday was a playdate for the Green Bay Area Mother of Multiples group that I belong to. We went to the NEW Zoo. The boys and I arrived before everyone else, so we took a few pictures.

Bay Beach 2009

Today, Shawn and I took the boys to Bay Beach. We started out the day on our normal ride on the train.



Brady was a little more excited going on rides this time around. Here are some more pictures.







Each of the boys went down on the big slide with daddy, and then all 4 of us went down together.

Smits Cottage visit 2009

Yesterday, we went to visit the Smits' cottage. The boys had a wonderful time. They didn't want to come out of the water. Isaac was his usual quiet self and jumped right into the water almost as soon as we got there. He immediately asked to have his suit put on and then he went right in. Brady on the other hand was just a little more outgoing. When he got his suit put on, he didn't want to get too wet at first. But by the end of the day, both boys were in the water up to their necks.

The boys have graduated

You ask from what, since they aren't even in school yet? They have now graduated to big boy beds. Here they were the first night in their toddler beds back in March, 2008.

Their room is a lot smaller now. We bought bunk beds, so in about a year or so from now, we will be able to put them into bunks and make their room bigger looking again. In the meantime, they will just have to deal with a smaller looking room. I don't think they will mind. :)

Cutting the Lawn

Daddy was outside cutting the lawn when Brady decided he was going to copy him.


First Brady started, and then of course, Isaac had to follow suit. It was pretty cute.
