Tower of cans

Brady was in the pantry again tonight and started building a tower of cans. He really got it quite tall. In fact, it was so tall, that he had to stand on something to get it even taller.



At least when he was done, he helped put all of them away.

My great Copps deal

Today I had to run to the grocery store to pick up a couple things for my February Night out with the Mothers of Multiple's club. I bought all of this stuff for $2.67.

New blog

My friend Shelly and I were talking about creating a blog to post all of our deals we found while shopping. I wanted to post a link here so if you want to visit it, you are more than welcome to do so. Since we are both pretty new to this whole CVS and Walgreens thing, both are both going to try and keep track of how much money we actually spend and how much we really end up saving. I think we both will end up showing that we have saved a LOT of money. I will try and post an update on what I have spent so far later.

Snow day

Since I had the day off of work because of the snow, all four of us decided to go outside and play. Or should I say the boys played while Shawn and I shoveled the driveway. The boys really enjoyed it. They would take their carts out or bikes and walk through the pathways that I had made for them in the snow on the driveway. Once we got the driveway all shoveled, the boys climbed up on the snowbanks and had a grand time. Here is a little video of them playing on the snow banks.

Laundry basket

This morning when I got up with the boys, Brady had grabbed the laundry basket off of the dresser by his bed and put it in bed with him. It was kind of cute because he was sitting right there in the basket in his crib. Here is a picture.

CVS

A friend of mine, Shelly helped me learn about shopping at CVS. Below is a picture of all the things I bought for 14 cents. Yes, you read that correct, 14 cents was all I paid for these things.


As you can see, I bought 3 deodorants, 6 bars of soap, 1 bottle of shampoo, 1 Glide dental floss, one rechargeable toothbrush, one pack of eyeshadow and one candy bar which I forgot to include for 14 cents. I could have done even better if I had more coupons. I'm now starting to collect coupons to use to make even better deals.
