Is that comfortable??

Today while I was working on cleaning the house, the boys were busy playing or watching TV. At one point, I looked to see what they were doing and found this.

Brady was first laying on the stairs by himself. Then a few minutes later, he got up again and went and grabbed the pillow off of the love seat in the living room. Then he went back to the stairs and laid down. However, he wasn't tired enough to take his nap about an hour later.

First time in big very big bed

Since the boys are no longer in their cribs, we also can no longer use the pack-n-plays. They are just too big for them now and I don't think they would like to sleep in those anymore since they can now sleep in toddler beds. The last couple of nights since we are in a hotel room, they had to sleep in a big person bed. They did pretty well considering they both had to sleep in the same bed. I didn't know how they were going to do, but it turned out pretty good. The first night, Sunday, we actually had to separate the boys in different beds because Brady was being too wild with his brother and he wouldn't settle down to go to sleep. I had Isaac come lay in my bed until he fell asleep. It wasn't too long after separating them that Brady was asleep. Isaac took a little longer, but not much and he was asleep. Then Daddy brought Isaac back to his own bed to sleep the rest of the night.

The next night (last night) went much smoother, but that was probably because it was a very late night. It was mine and Shawn's anniversary, so we went out to dinner with Shawn's cousin Justin, who lives in Milwaukee. We didn't get back to the hotel room until about 10:30, so the boys instantly went to sleep which made it for an easy night.

This morning when I woke up, I found the boys sleeping like this.
Isaac was just starting to wake up when I took this picture. As you can kind of see, Brady was so tired the night before, that I didn't even get all of his PJs put on him. I had to change his diaper, so then was able to get his bottoms on, but didn't want to bother him more to put his top on.

Grandma's mass

Today was mass for my grandma who had passed away several years ago. Every year, we have at least 2 masses to honor her memory. Today was the first one for the year which was a nice time. The boys did really good in church. Isaac cried a couple of times, but I think he just wanted to be by mommy. Otherwise, they sat and were fairly quiet the entire time. After mass, a lot of my family got together to go bowling at Manhattan Lanes. That was a nice time as well. The boys really enjoyed watching everyone throw their balls down the lanes. The also did a good job counting how many pins were left standing, so we knew how many more pins we needed to get. It was pretty cute. My mom helped keep an eye on them while Shawn and I bowled.

Later in the day, we then had to go home and pack as we head to Milwaukee for a couple of days. I had a convention to go to for work and all the boys came with me. It was a very busy day, needless to say, but a very good day.

Nap time

Yesterday, we had put the boys down to take a nap. Of course, as usual, they decided that they didn't want to sleep. I think Isaac would have gone to sleep, but his brother was keeping him awake. Anyways, after about an hour or more, we let them get up and had them go down to the family room so that I could wash the kitchen floor without them getting in the way. Later on, after Aunt Barb had come over to watch the boys while Shawn and I bowled, we went downstairs to see what was going on with the boys to find this.

Isaac had actually did this himself. He got the pillow and the blanket and laid down and fell asleep.
