The boys doctor appointments were today. Everything checked out OK. They are both healthy little boys. We will be receiving a call though from the Birth-3 office for their lack of speech.
Here were their stats:
Isaac
35 1/2 in. tall (75 percent)
26 lbs, 12oz (35 percent)
48 1/2 cm - head size (30 percent)
Blood pressure: 90/60
Brady
34 1/2 in. tall (50 percent)
26 lbs, 4 oz (30 percent)
50 1/4 cm - head size (75 percent) - he always did have a bigger head :)
Blood pressure: 88/54
Brady had caught up considerably since their appointment in October when they had colds. He was almost 2 pounds lighter than Isaac at that point. Now he is only 8 oz away!! He should be since he eats like a pig and most of the time eats more than Isaac.
Brady was very good during the appointment. He only cried when he got weighed. Isaac however cried every time the nurse or doctor even touched him. Usually it is the other way around. After the appointment, we went out for breakfast where the boys ate like pigs.
Welcome to our family website. This hopefully will be a great place to keep you all updated on our family as well as keep a nice history of the boys. Hope you all enjoy.

Snow
Today I had the day off of work for a couple of doctor appointments so I spent much of it with the boys. We had a great time. After lunch, I got them all bundled up so that we could go outside. Daddy hadn't shoveled the driveway yet, so I thought while he did that we would play for a little while. Both the boys posed for me once I took the camera out.

Isaac really got into playing with the snow and eating it (of course, because everything goes into the mouth).
Brady wasn't too sure about it all. He was just happy watching his brother.

Happy Birthday to you
You guessed it, today is the boys' 2nd birthday. Who can believe it. Seems like just yesterday I was laying in the hospital with 2 little babies in my arms. The boys were definitely anxious to get their day started since they woke up before 8 am which is early for them. Normally they wake up around 9. They didn't do a whole lot in the morning, just played. Brady is really starting to talk a lot, especially to himself. You just can't understand a word he is saying.

Grandma Fonder came over after work and all four of us went out for dinner. We went to Denny's. Brady had the Moons and Stars Chicken Nuggets with fruit melody and Isaac had the french toast, of which he didn't eat any of it. He did eat almost all of his fruit though.

At the end of the night, Isaac was feeling very loving. Here is a picture of Isaac giving Brady a hug. Isn't that cute? A little after I took this picture, Isaac gave his brother a kiss and hug. It was so precious to see.

Shirtless Isaac
This morning when I went to get the boys out of their cribs for the morning, I walked in and Isaac had his shirt off. This is the first time he has taken off his shirt on his own. He has taken off his PJs in the past, but never his shirt or pants.

Christmas 2006
Hello everyone and welcome to our new blog. I am hoping that I will be able to update this at least once a week. To start us off, I wanted to post some pictures from Christmas.
Christmas was a very hectic time, as I'm sure it was for many of you. It started off Christmas Eve morning when we all went to Grandma and Grandpa Neuser's house. We all opened our gifts and then ate a wonderful lunch. The boys were pretty shy and weren't quite sure they wanted to open their gifts. Here is a picture of them in their matching chairs they received from Grandma. They absolutely LOVE them because they are easy to get into.

After we had lunch, we went home and the boys took a nap so that they would be ready for the big night ahead of them.
That night we went to Dan and Jan Smits' house to celebrate with the Smits Family. Even though both the boys had taken a nice nap, it didn't seem to be enough for Brady. He not only was his usual shy self, but he looked extremely tired. Isaac was shy to begin with, but by the end of the night he was running around all over the place and having a grand time. Isaac would also like to say "Sorry" to aunt Jan for peeing on her living room floor. He had a little accident when Daddy was changing him into his pajamas he decided to get up and run around the house naked before Daddy could get his diaper on.
The next morning was gift opening for us. The boys got a little more into it since it was just us.
The boys received golf clubs from Santa and Isaac is a natural. He is going to be the next lefty.

After we opened our gifts at home we got ready and went to Great-Grandma and Grandpa Neuser's house for lunch and more gift opening.
Tuesday after Christmas we packed up the family and headed over to Grandma Fonder's house for a wonderful lunch and more gifts.
The boys are going to have a great summer as they have received a lot of outdoor toys from both sets of grandparents. They received a basketball hoop that grows with them, a t-ball set, the golf clubs, and tricycles.
