June Play Date

This month my Mothers of Multiple's group got together to create some Father's Day cards for daddy. We used the community room at the East Town Mall. Here is a picture of everyone who attended.

The three boys standing in red shirts and the boy in the red shirt sitting by Brady are 4 of my friend Shelly's kids. Her oldest and youngest are the two that are missing. Brady was being really shy for the picture. He didn't want to be that far away from me, even though I was the one who took the picture and his brother was right there. Oh well.

CVS deal

I just had to share this deal I got at CVS because it was so good. I've never been able to do this before.

I bought 2 packages of PlaySkool diapers, 10 bottles of LifeWater, 2 bottles of Viactiv Vitamins and paid ZERO cents!!! Here are the pictures to prove it.

If I didn't have the card, I would have spent over $65 on this stuff, but I got it all for FREE!!

Nap time???

Today, the boys were supposed to be taking a nap, so I went up to check on them because I knew they weren't sleeping. I opened the door and discovered this.

Sunglasses

I had received these sunglasses as a prize from the Mothers of Mutliples group meeting. I had taken them out of the car and was going to get rid of them, but figured the boys would have fun playing with them since they love sunglasses. I was right. Here they are with their sunglasses.

Did you miss us????

Sorry it has been such a long time since my last post. It has been kind of busy around here lately and I've been spending too much time on figuring out deals I can do at both Walgreens and CVS. I've made some really good deals lately at both stores. Feel free to check them out on our GB Savers blog linked on this page.

In case some of you haven't heard yet, we have had some interesting things occurring in our household. Shawn has decided to go back to school full time. He is also cutting back his hours so he can get done with school faster. He has decided to go back to UWGB and get an Accounting degree. We are hoping he will finish in about 2 years. In the meantime, it will be a change for everyone involved. His plan is to start right away this summer, so his summer classes are starting May 27th already. Luckily for all of us, that I don't work in the summer, so we only have two weeks where we have to make arrangements for the boys. After that, I will be home with them all day while daddy is actually gone.

This fall we will have to figure out what arrangements we can make for the boys. Shawn's cousin Michelle has a small day care in her home that we could send them to, or we are also thinking of sending them to pre-school a couple days a week. I need to do some more research into all of that, and soon.

The boys are just as cute as ever and can be even more trouble makers than ever. They are enjoying being able to get outside more which is a good thing since it wears them out!!

I'm having troubles uploading pictures, so I will try again tomorrow.

Is that comfortable??

Today while I was working on cleaning the house, the boys were busy playing or watching TV. At one point, I looked to see what they were doing and found this.

Brady was first laying on the stairs by himself. Then a few minutes later, he got up again and went and grabbed the pillow off of the love seat in the living room. Then he went back to the stairs and laid down. However, he wasn't tired enough to take his nap about an hour later.

First time in big very big bed

Since the boys are no longer in their cribs, we also can no longer use the pack-n-plays. They are just too big for them now and I don't think they would like to sleep in those anymore since they can now sleep in toddler beds. The last couple of nights since we are in a hotel room, they had to sleep in a big person bed. They did pretty well considering they both had to sleep in the same bed. I didn't know how they were going to do, but it turned out pretty good. The first night, Sunday, we actually had to separate the boys in different beds because Brady was being too wild with his brother and he wouldn't settle down to go to sleep. I had Isaac come lay in my bed until he fell asleep. It wasn't too long after separating them that Brady was asleep. Isaac took a little longer, but not much and he was asleep. Then Daddy brought Isaac back to his own bed to sleep the rest of the night.

The next night (last night) went much smoother, but that was probably because it was a very late night. It was mine and Shawn's anniversary, so we went out to dinner with Shawn's cousin Justin, who lives in Milwaukee. We didn't get back to the hotel room until about 10:30, so the boys instantly went to sleep which made it for an easy night.

This morning when I woke up, I found the boys sleeping like this.
Isaac was just starting to wake up when I took this picture. As you can kind of see, Brady was so tired the night before, that I didn't even get all of his PJs put on him. I had to change his diaper, so then was able to get his bottoms on, but didn't want to bother him more to put his top on.
